The Kaneland Varsity
Lost their first home game of the season to Morris Friday night 60-44. It ended
a five game winnig streak for the Knights and knocked them out of first place in
the conference. The loss dropped the Knights record to 9-6 for the season and
2-2 for a second place tie in the conference. Moreover, their record is now 9-2
with all the football players on the team!
The
Sophomore Knights were the only Kaneland team to beat
Morris this week-end with a solid performance. They beat the Indians 57-52. The
win moved their record to 7-7 and 2-2 in the conference.
Meanwhile the Freshmen Knights dropped to 5-8 and 1-4 in the conference with a losses to Batavia Monday the 5th, on the 10th to Riverside-Brookfield and Monday the 12th to Morris and to Sycamore Saturday 39-38.
