The Larry Eddington Invitational

Kaneland hosted its 27th Larry Eddington Invitational on Saturday, September 21st at Elburn Woods. Over 784 runners from 26 schools competed in the 3 girls and 3 boys races. Kaneland's individual finishers were as follows:

The boys varsity finished 10th with a score of 259 points. The top 9 finishers were class AA schools with Waubonsee Valley finishing 1st, St. Charles 2nd and Benet Academy 3rd. Chad Clarey, boys cross country coach made the following remarks about his team performance:

"The varsity squad ran a very fine race. After an intense week of practice, we performed very well. Our focus was appropriate for the meet. Jeremiah Milliman stood out again this week. He had a great kick to be in the top 25. Tim Eickhoff also ran an excellent race. Tim's attitude allowed him to perform and place as our third runner. Pulford, Augustine, Morris, Reynolds and Anderson all helped contribute greatly to a fine 10th place showing".
