The Sophomores Lady Knights came from behind to take the lead just before the final buzzer, as Stacy Hislop hit a jumper with 20 seconds remaining. As a result the Lady Knights won 34-33.

The sophomore team also dominated the Bulldogs winning impressively 52-15.
Jacobs 42 Kaneland 23
In the annual Kaneland Thanksgiving Tournament, the Knights lost the first game to Jacobs 42-23. Stacey Blatner had 6 points along with Elizabeth Kresse who also had 12 rebounds.
Hampshire 28 Kaneland 27
In the second game of the Kaneland Tournament the Lady Knights lost to a last second shot by Hampshire at the buzzer, 28-27. Andrea Schuppner led the Knights with 8 points and 8 rebounds. Stacy Blatner and Elizabeth Kresse had 6 points each.
Glenbard South 39 Kaneland 24

The Sophs lost their third game in a row to Glenbard South 24-39, bringing their season record to 2-3. Katherine Neahring had 5 points and Marci Piscitelli and Andrea Schuppner had 4 each.

The loss caused coach Eric Lentz to comment, "Our biggest challenge is not to beat ourselves. We lost because we haven't taken care of the ball and our shots have not fallen."
Team member Marci Piscitelli added, "We are working hard, but have to keep up the intensity and keep improving each week if we want to achieve our goals."
Sycamore 40 Kaneland 33
Sycamore beat Kaneland for the Knights fourth loss in a row in Kaneland's first conference game of the season.
Kaneland 39 Yorkville 19
Kaneland played impressive defense against Yorkville holding them to 6, 3, 6, and 4 points in each respective quarter, for a convincing win of 39-19. Andrea Schuppner led the Knights with 11 points, 7 steals and 8 rebounds. Elizabeth Kresse had 10 boards. The win balanced the sophomore's conference record to 1-1.

Kaneland 35 Westmont 21
The Lady Knights leveled their record to 4-4 by not letting Westmont score more than 9 points an any quarter for a 35-21 win.
Kaneland 37 Marian Central 23
The Lady Knights jumped off to a 12-2 first quarter lead and coasted to an easy 37-23 win, despite scoring only 2 points in the final quarter. The win improved their record to 5-4.
Sycamore 25 Kaneland 20
Sycamore beat Kaneland for second time this season 25-20, but did not count as a conference game since it was during the Genoa-Kingston Tournament. Sycamore's defense was awesome, never allowing the Knights to score more than 6 points in any one quarter.

The Sophomore Lady Knights took second place in the Genoa Kingston Christmas Tournament by beating Genoa Kingston 33-10. Allowing only 10 points was the Knights most impressive defensive effort.
At the halfway mark of the season the Sophomore Knights are 6-5 and 1-1 in the conference.
Kaneland 34 Oswego 21
Kaneland beat Oswego by 13 to improve their record to 7-5 for the season. The Lady Knights held Oswego to six points in the first quarter, but only scored 5 themselves. However, from then on out the Knights outscored Oswego 29-15 for the win. Jamie Fitzpatrick led the Knights with 13 points 4 rebounds and three steals. Elizabeth Kresse added 11 points and also had 4 boards and three steals.
Kaneland 30 Batavia 24

The Lady Knights fell behind early and trailed Batavia 10-4 at the end of the first quarter and trailed 18-13 at halftime. But the Knights came out in the second half a more determined team and outscored the Bulldogs 9-4 in the third quarter and 8-2 in the final quarter for a 30-24 victory.
Andrea Schuppner led the Knights shooting going 5 for 8 for 14 points and 7 rebounds. Elizabeth Kresse was 3 for 3 for 6 points, 4 boards and 3 steals. Jamie Fitzpatrick had 5 rebounds for the Knights.
Kaneland 25 Geneva 22

In a nip-and-tuck game the Lady Knights beat Geneva by 3 points, 25-22. After one quarter it was 6-6, after two it was 13-12 Geneva, and after three it was Knights 19-17. The win was the sophomore's third in a row and 6th in the last seven games and put them right in the middle of the hunt for the conference title at 2-1.
Elizabeth Kresse led the Knights with 9 points, 8 rebounds and 3 steals. Andrea Schuppner was close behind with 5 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Traci Genslinger provided 4 points and 6 boards.
Burlington Central 29 Kaneland 28
Burlington Central made a free throw in the waning seconds of the game to pull out a narrow victory over the Sophomore Lady Knights, 29-28. The loss snapped a 4 game Kaneland winning streak. Kaneland led throughout the game, but BC played tough defense in the last quarter holding the Knights to just 3 points.
Kaneland relied heavily on two players - Andrea Schuppner and Elizabeth Kresse which had 22 of the Knights 28 points, 17 of their 27 rebounds, 3 of their 8 steals and 2 of their 7 assist. Kresse had 12 points and 10 boards while Schuppner had 10 points and 7 boards.
